Hydraulic lifting gates for sloping access roads

Vehicle access control for difficult driveways and sloping roads is improved with the use of hydraulic lifting gates that have no need to swing or slide.

Lift gates for tricky accessThe Avant Gate hydraulic lifting system for vehicular access gates is now available in the UK and removes the obstacles of tricky installations around small spaces and sloping driveways where gates are unable to swing or slide.

Green Gate Access Systems is the exclusive UK distributor for the system and Neil Sampson, the company’s Managing Director, told us, “There is nothing on the market like the range currently available from Avant Gates. Using this range, we are able to install gates in locations where a normal gate just won’t function. The new gates are fitted in access or parking areas where space is restricted at the sides.”

Sloping roads often present problems when gating access and, according to Neil, Avant Gates provide the only system available which is suitable for sloping roads or driveways that present gaps under the gates. Available in a wide range of styles, the gates are up to 2.4 metres high and 10 metres wide for commercial installations and up to 1.8 metres high and 6 metres wide for domestic installations.

The gates have already enjoyed success and acceptance in the UK. Commenting on the most recent installation to have taken place, Neil Sampson said, “The client found Avant gates after searching on YouTube and was pleased to locate an installer in the UK installer as well as the upwards-not-outwards approach that was needed. The installation took just four hours with minimal disruption.

The gates are delivered pre-assembled with full height infra-red curtains on both sides and contact safety edges. They are ready and working from the manufacturer with CE compliance and carry safety certification. Fitted with industrial grade hydraulic components, the gates are expected to provide reliable service over a long period of time.
