PSIM software to feature at Middle East security event
Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) product from CNL Software to feature as part of the Intersec 2014 event in Dubai.
CNL Software is exhibiting at Intersec 2014 this week at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre in the UAE, bringing the company’s Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software to the market in the Middle East.
Security technology manufacturers understand the potential of the Middle Eastern market, particularly the UAE, for deploying IP-based technology products in a forward-thinking market which expects innovative technology without the constraints of widespread legacy systems.
PSIM is already extensively used in the region for law enforcement, the protection of critical national infrastructure and safe city projects amongst others. CNL Software will be demonstrating its IPSecurityCenter sofware at the event. IPSecurityCenter consolidates inputs from mission critical security systems and provides intelligence and guidance on responses including workflow for despatching. It can be used in traffic management operations.
For the local market, layout displays, workflow procedures and operation sequences can be created in Arabic as well as other information to enable operators in the Middle East to be able to view alarm status, camera location information, maps and addresses in their own language.
City management projects are a key mission in the Middle East according to Daniel Bloodworth of CNL Software, who stated that PSIM is proving to be one of the most cost effective means for providing integration and management of intelligence across the city. He went on to say that Intersec provides CNL with an opportunity to share information and best practices in the region for the use of PSIM.
