Road safety advice available at commercial vehicle show

The DVSA is attending CVS 2016 this April with presentations and expert advice available on a range of commercial vehicle operations and regulations.

The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) will be at this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show from 26 to 28 April 2016 and will be providing education and advice to operators and drivers on a range of road safety issues.

Occupying Stand 5C10, the DVSA will be hosting a number of experts on different aspects of commercial vehicle operations and will be able to field enquiries on a range of topics including tachographs and drivers’ hours regulations, walkaround checks, online test bookings, authorised test facilities, individual vehicle approvals, licensing and operator self service.

There will also be presentations at the stand on the earned recognition concept with the “DVSA Operator Excellence” programme and how IT service providers can support operators.

The Commercial Vehicle Show (CVS) is scheduled to take place from Tuesday 26th to Thursday 28th April at the NEC in Birmingham, UK.
